Writing in other places

Halloween 2013, I entered a short story in a contest at TGNA: Amanda’s Halloween Story.

In High School I published a poem in the 2001 Love and Luminaries collection by the International Library of poetry. The one and only poem I have ever, or will ever write, which I was forced to pen as an English assignment. Titled “Goodbye, Wolf” it’s on page 220.

In college, I was an editor for the NHTI ‘The Eye’ student literary journal. As an English major, I wrote a lot of essays. In 2007, “Faith in God and Faith in Mankind” a literary analysis of Hawthorn’s “Young Goodman Brown” and a fictional piece, simply titled “Alternate Ending” which added a concluding scene to the short story, “Where are you going, where have you been” by Joyce Carol Oates were both published. In the 2008 edition, my literary analysis “That Cinderella Story” was chosen. In 2009, I had two literary analysis chosen, “Plots, death and parenting in White Noise” and “The Fool is an Actor”.
